HOW DO WE DO IT?
What is your plan for District 22 affordability?
Zak will empower our seniors to retire with dignity by providing tax credits for home safety improvements, expanding age-friendly living options and working to expand tax exemptions on Social Security. He is committed to strengthening vocational education and technical training to prepare residents for high-paying careers within our state. By increasing housing availability and lowering utility costs through green energy and responsible housing development while protecting our green spaces, Zak ensures that Warwick remains an affordable place for all families to thrive.
How will you improve public safety?
Zak will secure modern equipment for Warwick’s first responders so they can respond faster and save more lives. He’ll push for statewide coastal safety education and clear rip current warnings to keep families safe at our beaches. Zak also supports e‑bike safety training for teens so everyone can share the road more safely.
What will you do to increase access to affordable healthcare?
To ensure our community has the healthcare professionals it needs, Zak will work to increase Medicaid reimbursement rates to better align with Medicare to preserve our local healthcare workforce. He will broaden Wavemaker tax credits and support a Rhode Island medical school with scholarships for Rhode Islanders who commit to local primary care. These strategic investments will stabilize our medical workforce and guarantee that every family in District 22 can access a doctor without financial hardship or long wait times.
